  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a simple Easter cake in a bread machine? Prepare your food. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it softens well. The egg should also be at room temperature. Yeast take the kind that is mixed with flour, fast-acting. I bake in a Moulinex bread machine.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Take a bread machine bucket and install the stirrer blade. In my model, the dough products are added in the following way - first liquid, then dry. In other models, the order may differ; see the instructions for your bread maker. Heat the milk until warm and pour it into a bucket. It should become just warm, but not hot, so as not to scald or destroy the yeast. Add sugar, a pinch of salt, and beat in the egg. Add soft butter.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Sift flour into a bucket. By doing this you will not only remove possible debris, but also saturate it with oxygen, which will make the baked goods more fluffy. Make a small well in the center and add the yeast. This is also stipulated in the instructions - yeast should not come into contact with milk.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the bucket in the bread maker and run the program suitable for Easter cakes. In my bread machine it is "French loaf or bread". Weight is 500 grams, I always use a light crust, my bread machine over-fries any baked goods. You look at your model, you can make a medium-rare crust. The dough kneading will begin. Use a silicone spatula to scrape down the sides of the flour to help the appliance.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Look at the consistency of the dough; if it seems liquid, add a couple more tablespoons of flour. If dry, add a little more milk. When the dough comes together, add the washed raisins. Again, use a spatula to help knead, gathering the raisins towards the center. As a result, you should get a homogeneous lump of dough that will not stick to the walls.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

When this happens, close the lid and leave the bread maker until the end of the program. After the end signal, open the lid and remove the bucket.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Turn it over and shake out the cake. If the blade remains in it, then remove it with a hook. Leave the cake to cool on a wire rack under a towel.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Decorate the finished cake with glaze as desired or simply sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve to the table. Bon appetit!
