In fact, 2 hours is not enough for marinating. The first portion was prepared two hours later. The meat was not marinated at all and it turned out a bit empty. The second portion was prepared a day later. It turned out to have a richer taste, but we didn’t really like it. Something is missing. Spicy or sour. Previously, we cooked chicken in the oven in such a marinade, it was very tasty. I thought it would taste the same here too.

Yes, Victor, I think that honey gives sweetness and sugar in meat does not release juice, but rather takes it away. Try without honey, everything is the same, but without honey, lemon juice with spices, mustard and olive oil is just everything, what is needed for the marinade...

IrinaVic, after all, there is no comrade for the taste and color. I am sure that many will like the recipe: lemon juice with spices, mustard and olive oil is just all that is needed for the marinade.. Shura, you are right :) But this will be a completely different recipe :)
