Sbiten cranberry
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Prepare all products according to the list.
STEP 2
Sort the cranberries thoroughly and wash them thoroughly.
STEP 3
Pour a liter of water into a saucepan, boil it and lower the cranberries into the boiling water for two to three minutes.
STEP 4
Next, drain the water from the pan (but not into the sink; you can pour it into another pan, it will come in handy.) Mash the cranberries thoroughly with a pestle.
STEP 5
Then add the drained water, add another liter of water, add all the spices and bring the sbiten to a boil. Next, strain it from the cranberry pulp and leave to cool. I add honey to a still warm, but not hot, decoction, since if it is hot it will lose all its beneficial properties. The sbiten turns out to be a bit sour. If you like it sweeter, then the amount of honey should be increased. I do not use sugar in this recipe.
STEP 6
The mega-healthy and vitamin drink is ready. Can be consumed both cold and hot.
