Thanks for the recipe! I’ve never done this before, but I love onions, so I decided to cook it. Season the chopped pieces with a mixture of peppers from the grinder. The pepper gave it a spicy kick. It took twice as long to bake the onions in my oven, but I was pleased with the results. The onion crunched under the melted cheese!

A wonderful appetizer of onions baked in the oven with cheese! I love onions and cheese, but I have this idea to first bake only the onions in the oven, and when they are browned, put the cheese on it and bake again until golden brown.
