Marmalade with gelatin

STEP 1

How to make marmalade with gelatin at home? Very simple! Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
STEP 2

Wash the cranberries in running water, place them in a saucepan, and pour in 50 ml of water. Take clean, filtered water, as the taste of the dessert will depend on its quality.
STEP 3

Place the pan with cranberries over low heat. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring, for 5-7 minutes.
STEP 4

Take gelatin, place it in a bowl, add 60 ml of water and leave to swell. You can read about how to choose gelatin and its features in the article on gelatin. There is a link to it at the end of the recipe.
STEP 5

Remove the pan from the heat. Grind the cranberries using an immersion blender.
STEP 6

Rub the resulting cranberry puree through a sieve to obtain a completely homogeneous mass without solid particles.
STEP 7

Pour cranberry juice into the pan and add sugar there, stir.
STEP 8

Return the pan to the heat. Boil the mixture, stirring so that it does not burn, for about 15-20 minutes.
STEP 9

Next, remove the pan from the heat and add the swollen gelatin to the hot juice. Stir the mixture until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
STEP 10

Cool the cranberry juice slightly and pour into a parchment-lined rectangular pan or pour into small portion molds.
STEP 11

Let the cranberry marmalade cool and place it in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours until completely set.
STEP 12

Cut the finished cranberry juice marmalade into portions, roll in fine sugar and serve the delicacy. Bon appetit!
