Instead of gelatin, you can add agar-agar, as in this recipe for homemade apple marmalade.

I decided to make marmalade with gelatin at home. I have frozen blackcurrants. I made it according to the author's recipe. It turned out to be a tasty, aromatic, healthy treat! Without flavors and dyes, with the smell and taste of fresh berries. There are still a lot of frozen raspberries, strawberries, pitted cherries in the freezer, I’ll definitely make assorted marmalade next time. Thanks for the recipe, Maria!

Why not try making marmalade with gelatin at home? So I thought and started cooking. Moreover, judging by the recipe, it is not difficult to prepare. I had assorted berries: black, white, red currants and some blackberries. Gelatin was poured with water. I boiled the berries a little and rubbed them through a sieve. Added sugar to the juice, stirred, boiled until the sugar dissolved and added the swollen gelatin. Mixed well and poured into molds. I put it in the refrigerator. Then I took the marmalade out of the molds and rolled it in sugar. A healthy and tasty treat is ready! I really liked it. Now I will try it with other berries. Thanks to Maria for the healthy yummy recipe!
