STEP 1
How to make horseradish with lemon and honey? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Store-bought wheat vodka is ideal as an alcoholic base, but you can make horseradish with moonshine or ethyl alcohol (pre-diluted to 40-45 degrees). Instead of lemon, you can take 0.25 pods of hot pepper if you want a “spicier” drink. Grate the horseradish root on a coarse grater. I used ready-made grated horseradish.
STEP 2
Squeeze the juice from the lemon and measure 1-1.5 tablespoons. It will make the drink taste softer.
STEP 3
Add honey and mix thoroughly.
STEP 4
Transfer the horseradish and honey mixture into a clean bottle, add lemon juice and pour in a little vodka. Close the lid and shake vigorously.
STEP 5
Add the remaining vodka, close the lid tightly and leave to steep for at least three, but no more than seven days. Otherwise it will become bitter and tasteless.
STEP 6
Strain the tincture through several layers of gauze and cotton wool.
STEP 7
Typically, homemade tincture is obtained with a strength of 35-40 degrees. Enjoy your tasting!
