Homemade potato cake made from cookies with condensed milk and nuts
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make chocolate chip cookie cake with condensed milk? Measure out all the required products. It is better to remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it has time to soften well. Try to take good butter and high-quality condensed milk from whole milk, without additives. I also have nuts and cocoa. Decide for yourself whether to add them or not.
STEP 2
Grind the cookies to fine crumbs. I used a blender, you can use a manual meat grinder. Or take a regular rolling pin, place the cookies in two bags in one layer and beat them well. If there are pieces left, don’t worry, they will still soften from the cream later.
STEP 3
Chop the nuts too. Use what you have on hand for this. Instead of walnuts, you can use any other nuts you like. Or do without nuts altogether; the cake will still be delicious without them.
STEP 4
In a separate bowl, mix together: cookies, nuts, cocoa. You can leave about one tablespoon of cocoa for sprinkling.
STEP 5
Mix the dry mass well.
STEP 6
In a separate bowl, beat the cream from condensed milk and butter. There are recipes where these products are simply added to cookies and kneaded well, but it seems to me that doing this in the form of a cream is faster and more convenient. You can set aside a tablespoon of cream for decoration.
STEP 7
Combine the cream and sand mass. Mix it well until smooth.
STEP 8
Now start making the cakes. You can make them in the form of real potatoes, you can create round ones, small ones - as your imagination tells you. Place the preparations in the refrigerator for two hours. During this time the butter will harden and the cakes will hold their shape well.
STEP 9
When the cakes are ready, roll each one in cocoa. To do this, pour cocoa onto a saucer and roll the potatoes in it on all sides.
STEP 10
You can decorate the resulting potatoes with “eyes” made from cream. To do this, use something sharp (I used a pencil) to make small holes in the cake and use a small corvette to pipe the cream. If you like more elegant decor, then you need to take more cream and plant flowers or roses.
