    In a bowl, combine 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil and garlic cloves passed through a press. Mix everything thoroughly. Set the aromatic garlic oil aside and let it steep. Instead of regular oil, you can use store-bought aromatic oil with the addition of garlic and basil.

    Heat the remaining vegetable oil (1 tablespoon or more) in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the bread and fry on both sides until golden brown.

Our whole family was very happy when I prepared garliki with garlic. For them, I specially bought fresh Borodino bread with coriander sprinkles. I cut the loaf into slices, and cut each slice crosswise into sticks. The bread slices were fried in vegetable oil on both sides. Then, as indicated in the recipe, I combined them with pre-prepared garlic butter. To remove excess oil, put it on a napkin. I liked this technique, I had never done this before and my croutons turned out too greasy. When serving, sprinkle the garliki with salt and dill. It turned out very tasty! Borodino bread itself has an interesting taste, but prepared this way it became much tastier. The aroma filled the whole house. The garlics are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, just the way I like them. Thanks for the recipe!
