Step-by-step preparation
Cooking time: 40 mins
STEP 1
Cut the onion into rings 4-5 mm thick.
STEP 2
Secure the onion rings with toothpicks.
STEP 3
Place onions in a bowl
STEP 4
Pickling sauce.
STEP 5
Pour the sauce over the rings and leave for 15-20 minutes. You can do it longer - it will just have a richer taste.
STEP 6
Break an egg into a bowl, beat it a little, add salt. Place the rings into the beaten egg.
STEP 7
Roll each ring in breadcrumbs.
STEP 8
Place the rings in a frying pan in well-heated vegetable oil.
STEP 9
Fry the rings on both sides. Place the rings on a paper towel if there is a lot of vegetable oil.
STEP 10
A very tasty and almost dietary dish is ready. Bon appetit!

I was initially attracted by the name of this dish; I could not even imagine that onions could be used and cooked separately from other products. And since I recently went on a diet, and the recipe is dietary, I immediately prepared it. It turned out very tasty and thanks to the marinade it doesn’t even look like it’s an ordinary onion.

I fried onions five years ago, but instead of soy sauce I used batter. Very tasty too!
