Five-minute strawberry jam

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

We prepare products according to the list.
STEP 2

We select the freshest strawberries for the recipe. If they are too wrinkled, then during cooking we will lose some of the juice, and if they are spoiled, then the jam will not taste very pleasant.
STEP 3

Wash the strawberries under the tap for about two minutes and leave in a colander. Let it get rid of excess moisture there. When the strawberries are dry, we remove the stems from them in order to put fully peeled, beautiful berries into the pan.
STEP 4

Place the berries in a saucepan and cover them with sugar. Half a kilo of sugar is spent per kilogram. This is the most optimal calculation. We wait several hours until the berries give up their juices. It’s better to leave this matter overnight, go to bed yourself and start making strawberry jam the next morning. You can then dilute the juice a little with water, but we won’t do that.
STEP 5

Place the pan on the fire, bringing the juice to a boil. Starting from the moment of boiling, the jam should cook for about five minutes.
STEP 6

We get rid of the emerging foam. After cooking, let the jam cool completely, which may take quite a lot of time.
STEP 7

When finished, pour the jam into jars.
STEP 8

Seal the filled jars with lids.
STEP 9

Our homemade supply of goodies has been supplemented with a new delicacy.
STEP 10

Try it!
