Dorsetshire apple pie
A simple recipe for a light apple pie for the little gourmets! My biggest critics in the kitchen are my children. They have a real sweet tooth. Therefore, I try to constantly prepare new healthy and tasty food for them. I wanted to share one of these recipes with you - this is Dorsetshire apple pie, it is taken from English cuisine. The pie is very quick to prepare, quite simple and not expensive, and most importantly, it is suitable even for the smallest gourmets. And this culinary recipe will help you out if you have unexpected guests.

My husband is a big fan of pies and pies with apples. I think that “Dorsetshire apple pie” from your cookbook will be a surprise for him. I especially like that the recipes have photos. Now I know what the pie will look like. Based on my experience in baking apple pies, I recommend sprinkling the dough with starch before the apples. Thanks for the recipe.

Your pie turned out beautiful, Katya. Can you please tell me what self-raising flour is?

Thank you for your kind words) Self-raising flour is regular flour with additives like baking powder, in theory you can bake with it without soda or baking powder. True, the recipe contains both, but this is probably for greater pomp))

and I’ll join in the praise, well, the cake turned out to be very elegant, it looks like you deliberately drew an ornament on it
