Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Preparing the ingredients. Pour milk into the slow cooker, add sugar. Turn on the “steaming” program for 40 minutes. And stir until the sugar dissolves. When the milk boils, add soda to the mixture and stir. Baking soda will prevent the milk from curdling and will help the condensed milk acquire a caramel color and flavor. Cook the condensed milk on the “steam” program with the lid open so that the milk does not escape.
STEP 2

After the program time has expired, set the “quenching” program for 1 hour. On this program the milk should thicken.
STEP 3

Cool the condensed milk and serve as a dessert with tea or use in baking. Enjoy your tea!
