    Pour the whites into a bowl. Beat them with a mixer into a thick foam. Then, always whisking, gradually add sugar and coconut. Beat until you get a homogeneous mass.

    Drop small teaspoonfuls of meringue mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    Bake in the oven for 1.5 hours. Open the oven, try turning one piece over. If it sticks to the paper, or is somehow runny, it means you need to bake longer. If it is dried out, then turn everything over and bake for another 30 minutes.
