Chicken with grapes and almonds
Meat stewed in wine is a classic in many cuisines around the world. I found this recipe on a French website and decided to cook it. There was a branch of grapes and some white wine left in the refrigerator. All this needed to be put into action urgently. It is better to use freshly ground pepper, or even better, a mixture of peppers, then the chicken will turn out much more flavorful.

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Prepare the ingredients.
STEP 2

Wash the chicken fillet and dry it. Cut the meat into large pieces.
STEP 3

Chop the almonds.
STEP 4

Peel the onion and cut into rings.
STEP 5

Place the chicken in a dry, heated frying pan and fry, stirring, for 5 minutes. Transfer the meat to a plate.
STEP 6

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and fry the onion cut into rings until transparent. Approximately 3-4 minutes.
STEP 7

Pick the grapes from the branch and place them in a frying pan with the onions. Fry together for 2 minutes.
STEP 8

Return the chicken to the pan.
STEP 9

Add almonds and thyme sprigs. Pour in the wine. Add salt and pepper. Simmer the chicken, covered, over medium heat for about 30 minutes.
