STEP 1

How to make Carousel salad with Korean carrots and croutons? Prepare your food. Instead of smoked breast, you can use any smoked meat or sausage. Korean carrots are suitable both ready-made and home-cooked. The same applies to crackers - you can take ready-made ones or make them at home. You can make mayonnaise yourself. Below the steps you will find a link to homemade mayonnaise recipes.
STEP 2

How to make croutons for salad? Take a couple of slices of white bread. Any will do - loaf, baguette, ciabatta, toast, like mine. Cut the bread into evenly sized squares so they toast at the same time.
STEP 3

Place the sliced bread in a dry frying pan and place over low heat. Fry the crackers, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes. They will brown a little and become crispy. If you wish, you can make the crackers garlicky - to do this, squeeze a clove of garlic into the bread and add a little vegetable oil. Stir and fry them until cooked.
STEP 4

While the croutons are frying, prepare the salad. Cut the chicken into small cubes. Place the corn in a sieve to drain excess liquid. Cut the Korean carrots into smaller pieces if they are too long. See the description for a link to recipes for homemade Korean carrots.
STEP 5

Place chopped chicken in a salad bowl, add Korean carrots, corn and croutons. Add mayonnaise to the salad and stir. Add salt to taste, I didn’t, since the salad contains salty chicken, carrots and mayonnaise.
STEP 6

Immediately, before the croutons become soggy, serve the carousel salad with smoked chicken to the table. If you plan to prepare it in advance, add croutons and mayonnaise immediately before serving. Bon appetit!
