  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make caramelized apples? Prepare your food. Choose apples that are whole, strong and without damage. If they are soft, they will simply soften during stewing. Wash the apples well, cut into 4 parts and remove the core. There is no need to peel.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Then cut the apples into medium-sized cubes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Heat a non-stick frying pan and melt butter in it. Just don't replace butter with margarine. It is the oil that gives the finished apples a creamy taste, and the smell of margarine will only ruin everything. Read how to choose a frying pan in a separate article at the end of the recipe.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Then add sugar to the hot oil. Stir. Keep everything together on the fire for a couple of minutes. Wait until the sugar mass begins to turn a little yellow.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Then add all the chopped apples to the pan. Mix everything well and leave them to fry. The high temperature will cause the apples to release a sufficient amount of juice and it will seem as if the apples are floating in the pan. But this is temporary. Continue frying them and stir occasionally. You can add a little cinnamon for flavor. With the aroma of cinnamon, apples will taste great in pies.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

After 5-7 minutes, the excess liquid will evaporate and the apple mass will become thick and viscous, caramel-like. Don't wait for the apples to turn to mush. Shoot into the fire. The apples should be soft, but remain pieces. Cool the finished apples and use them for their intended purpose. Enjoy your meal!

What else could you make from apples? That's right, I'll fry it in caramel, perhaps) I reduced the portion by half, so it turned out to be just two plates. I made it just like that, to eat as a dessert. My apples are autumn apples, they hold their shape well and taste sweet and sour. The finished caramel apples turned out to be whole pieces and translucent. The taste is sweet - creamy, richly apple. The caramel stretches like strings in places and crunches. It is very tasty and aromatic, a real pleasure!

There were apples in the refrigerator, I wanted to make something simple and sweet from them) All the ingredients for making caramelized apples were already on hand, which of course is a plus of this recipe. My apples are firm, with a slight sourness. For myself, I chose to cut it into slices rather than cubes. It seems to me that the dish looks prettier this way) The apples turned out tasty, sweet, with a very bright apple taste. Wonderful caramel aroma) Thanks for the recipe!

I once tried these caramelized apples with ice cream, it was very tasty! It’s especially great when apples are used sweet and sour or with a slight sourness without sweetness. greatly enhances the taste of ice cream (especially creamy)
