Biscuit in the microwave in 5 minutes

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make a biscuit in the microwave in 5 minutes? Prepare your food. Despite the fact that the sponge cake is not prepared in the oven, it is better if all the ingredients are warm - then it will turn out fluffier and rise better. Milk is suitable for any fat content, egg - category C1, oil - refined, odorless.
STEP 2

Beat the egg into a bowl. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush. Add sugar. You can reduce or increase its quantity based on your preferences. Beat the egg and sugar with a whisk. This will be enough, do not take out the mixer so as not to delay the process.
STEP 3

Add cocoa, flour, baking powder and starch to the egg mixture. Pour in milk and vegetable oil.
STEP 4

Mix everything with a whisk until smooth. If the dough seems too liquid, add a little more flour; if it is too thick, add a little milk. It should eventually become homogeneous and fluid, like low-fat sour cream.
STEP 5

Take suitable utensils for microwave cooking. I have a ceramic bowl with a diameter of 13cm and a height of 8cm. Line the bottom with a circle of parchment and grease the sides with vegetable oil. Pour the dough into the mold.
STEP 6

Place the biscuit in the microwave without covering it with anything. Cook it on full power for 3 to 5 minutes. The higher the power, the shorter the cooking time. For me, at 700W, the biscuit took 5 minutes to cook; for a 1000W microwave, 3 would be enough. The dough will rise greatly, almost to the brim. When pressed it will spring back.
STEP 7

Keep the sponge cake in the turned off microwave for a few more minutes until its edges move away from the pan. Then remove the bowl, invert it onto a plate and remove the sponge cake. Remove the parchment.
STEP 8

Serve the biscuit to the table. You can pour melted chocolate over it, layer it with cream and make a mini-cake. Or serve it warm with ice cream. Bon appetit!
