Stew with rice is great for a hearty dinner. I replaced the beef with a cheaper chicken breast, so the stewing process took me less time. To form a golden brown crust, the meat was first dried with paper towels. After adding the onion to the pan, I fried it for about 7 minutes. I like it when the onion is slightly caramelized and takes on a sweetish flavor. Instead of tamata juice, I diluted the paste with hot water. For spices I added dried vegetables and chicken seasoning. Well, a small bay leaf for aroma. The packaging of my rice said it was brown unpolished. It turned out that it takes longer to cook than regular rice and takes more water. Therefore, you always need to focus on the type of cereal! We loved this dish, the kids ate two plates each! The onion steamed well and they didn’t even notice it). The meat and rice were well soaked in the tomato sauce, it turned out juicy! Thanks for the recipe!
