Baked Apples with Honey and Cinnamon

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Prepare your food. I used cane sugar and it added a caramel note.
STEP 2
I'll wash the blocks. Using a knife, carefully remove the center of the apples along with the seeds in a circular motion.
STEP 3
Using a vegetable peeler or paring knife, remove two turns of peel in a spiral pattern.
STEP 4
Mix sugar and cinnamon on a plate. Dip the cut portions of the apples in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
STEP 5
Take a baking dish and line it with foil. Place the apples in the mold. Pour a teaspoon of honey into each apple.
STEP 6
Bake apples in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the type of apple. Make sure that the apple does not burst, otherwise the honey will leak out. Serve the finished apples warm or cooled. When serving, you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar if the apples were sour varieties. Bon appetit!
