Once upon a time, in childhood, we were told that apples, even when properly stored, retain their vitamins only until the New Year, and then they are supposedly useless to eat (now I understand that the fiber remains in them in any case). Baked apples in the oven are a simple dish, but every housewife always has interesting tips. And in this recipe I found something new for myself. I have never peeled half an apple and rolled the peeled side into a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. But it turned out very interesting, now I will always do it this way. The apples I used were quite hard. Therefore, I baked them longer than the author indicated, about 40 minutes. Added honey and walnuts to the middle.
