STEP 1

How to make Antonovka compote for the winter? Very simple! Prepare all the ingredients needed for this. There are very few of them. Sort the apples and wash thoroughly in running water. Wash the jars with water and sterilize. Place wet jars upside down on a cold oven rack. Turn on the oven to 150 degrees and sterilize 2 liter jars - 20 minutes, 3 liter jars - 25 minutes. Wash the lids and boil. You can also sterilize jars by steaming or in the microwave.
STEP 2

STEP 3

After a while, drain the water back into the pan.
STEP 4

Add sugar to the pan and bring the resulting syrup to a boil. Stir occasionally until the sugar is completely dissolved.
STEP 5

Pour the resulting syrup over the apples.
STEP 6
