Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during the cutting and cooking process they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish, but we need the circles to remain intact and retain their original shape as much as possible. Plum and pink tomatoes are ideal - they are sweet and fragrant.

Great appetizer "Tomatoes with cheese and garlic in the oven"! I really liked its simplicity and quick cooking method. I used to make this appetizer, but only raw. More precisely, just tomatoes in circles, mayonnaise and grated cheese on top - that’s how it was served. But after seeing this cooking option, I also wanted to try baking it. I made a warm appetizer for meat. Incredibly fast and easy. I cut the tomatoes into slices and placed them on a plate. I didn’t add salt or pepper, as the mayonnaise and cheese are quite salty. Spread 67% mayonnaise on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. I chose gaisin cheese, it melts perfectly and is very tasty. Well, since I had meat in the oven, I put the plate with the appetizer in the microwave on the grill rack for 5 minutes at 600 W. Decorated with dill) Done! A stunningly light, tasty and very beautiful appetizer. It not only decorates the table, but perfectly complements the meat, and is also incredibly tasty! Thanks to the author!
