    How to bake tomatoes in sour cream? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. You can use sour cream of any fat content to suit your taste. Cheese, too, choose any of the hard and semi-hard ones. Wash the vegetables well and dry with paper towels. Peel the garlic.

    Wash the dill, dry and finely chop.

    In a separate bowl, combine sour cream with garlic, chopped dill, salt and pepper.

    Stir the resulting mass until smooth.

    Cut the tomatoes into slices. Also cut the zucchini into slices. I did not remove the skin from the zucchini, it is tender. If your squash has a tougher skin, you can peel it, also removing any rough seeds (if necessary).

    Take a rectangular or square shape of suitable size. Lubricate it with oil. Place zucchini and tomato slices alternately in the pan.

    Top the vegetables with the previously prepared sauce of sour cream with garlic and spices.

    Sprinkle the casserole with finely or medium-grated cheese on top of the sauce. Bake tomatoes in sour cream with zucchini in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 40 minutes. Be careful to select the time and temperature specifically for your oven. Check their readiness and adjust them periodically.

My husband and I are having a vegetable lunch today, so I prepared some very tasty tomatoes in the oven in sour cream and zucchini. I also don’t like these vegetables just stewed. But under such an original “fur coat” it turned out very appetizing! I didn’t have a suitable tall mold, so I took a flat, wide one and laid out the zucchini and tomatoes in an overlapping pattern. I added salt on top. For the sauce, I took 20% sour cream, added dill, garlic, black pepper and salt. I covered the vegetables with a thick layer of this “snow” and sprinkled them with grated cheese. Bake for exactly 40 minutes. During this time, the vegetables managed to bake, but remained intact and did not turn into porridge) But a golden brown crust appeared on top. We really liked the taste! Tender zucchini, sour tomatoes and delicious sour cream cheese sauce. Great recipe!
