Grind the poppy seeds in a coffee grinder.
STEP 3

Beat the whites with half the sugar until stiff foam.
STEP 4

Beat the butter with the remaining sugar, add vanilla and yolks.
STEP 5

Mix with poppy seeds.
STEP 6

Gradually add the whipped whites.
STEP 7

Distribute the dough evenly in the pan.
STEP 8

Bake at 175° for 25-30 minutes.
