I came across a recipe for strawberry jelly on the website. Judging by the ratio of liquid and starch, I realized that it would be a thick jelly, more like a dessert than a drink. I decided to try to cook this unusual option for me. It’s winter now, but in the summer I crushed strawberries with a little added sugar in a blender and froze them. I took out 500 g of frozen berry puree (I prepared half the amount of jelly for testing for the first time). I added a little more raspberry to the strawberry puree))). I brought the water and sugar to a boil, added the melted puree, brought it all together again to a boil and poured in the starch dissolved in cool boiled water while constantly stirring. Without stopping stirring, I kept the jelly on the fire until it began to “puff”, boiling. Removed from heat and poured into molds. Chilled jelly can be served with a slice of lemon (for those who like sour things) or sprinkled with powdered sugar (for those with a sweet tooth). The result was a fragrant, thick, delicious dessert. Thank you, kontati!
