Simple kefir cake with jam

Even a not-so-skilled pastry chef can make this cupcake. I can tell you for sure that you can bake a cupcake with kefir without spending almost any money. I learned this very culinary recipe for kefir cake quite by accident. I was driving to work, and two very talkative women were sitting in front of me. They were already crackling, I even had a headache, but then I somehow listened, or rather, almost the entire bus listened, and even more accurately, it was simply impossible not to hear them. Well, one told the other how she bakes pies, pies and muffins, and they argued about whose muffins are better, and began to share their culinary recipes. I involuntarily remembered one - it seemed too simple.

Hello. Very good recipe! I often bring milk from the village, but often after a couple of days the milk turns sour and I don’t know what to make from it. And you gave me a good idea! All ingredients are always available. And it doesn’t take much time. Because we don’t drink kifir often and sometimes we had to throw it away. But we always eat sweet pies and cakes with pleasure. Thanks for the idea!

Let me start with the fact that my family and I use only healthy food. I do not use any coloring agents (except for natural ones, such as beets, berries). Everything is natural. So, I was looking for baked goods that contain kefir. And I found this great site thanks to to my little daughter, she was gnawing on a dryer and saying, crunch, crunch. So I typed in the search engine, crunch. It’s not for nothing that they say, through the mouth of a baby..... I found the recipe I was dreaming about, and surprisingly discovered that Khrumka is a bottomless chest with valuable recipes. Now not a day goes by without new items from Khrumka’s cookbook, thanks to the creators. The best recipe book I’ve seen in many years.

The cake turned out very tasty, cooking time was 1 hour. The only thing I needed was 300-350 grams of flour and I would also add sugar.

I agree, Natalie, sugar is not for everyone. At my house I usually eat this with sweet tea, so there’s enough sugar.

Many years ago I used a similar recipe, it was called “Tea Pie”. Only the cooking process is a little different. I decided to bake this recipe. Now I don’t make jam, I put blackcurrant jam bought in the store into the dough. It turned out to be rubbery muck. Apparently the reason for the failure was the jam. Because this cupcake just can't fail. Place JAM in the dough as indicated in the recipe, preferably homemade, because... It is unknown what the manufacturer added there.

Wow, I didn’t even think that jam was such an important ingredient here! Thank you for the warning!!! This is a very valuable note, it will be useful for everyone, I will definitely take it into account too!!!
