Sandwiches Shoulder straps for February 23

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Trim the edges of the slices of toast bread in the shape of a shoulder strap.
STEP 2

Place the toast bread pieces on a plate. You can optionally fry the bread on both sides in a dry frying pan, but this is not necessary; the sandwiches turn out very tasty anyway.
STEP 3

Place salted lard, cut into thin slices, onto the toasted bread pieces. You need to try to give the pieces of lard the same shape so that they do not protrude beyond the edges of the bread.
STEP 4

Next, place garlic, cut into thin slices, on top of the lard.
STEP 5

Cover the top with lard and garlic with a slice of toast bread. To decorate, you need to cut thin strips from carrots, and stars and buttons from lemon peel. The same stars can be cut out of cheese, and stripes can be drawn with ketchup, for example.
STEP 6

Bon appetit! Happy Defender of the Fatherland!
