Salad for February 23 Disguise

"Disguised" salad - a fun surprise for Defender of the Fatherland Day! Well what can I say? Cool, savory, on-topic, a snack - what else does a woman who is thinking about what to prepare for our dear defenders of the fatherland on February 23, Border Guard Day, Airborne Forces Day and other men's military holidays?

Ingredients

ServingsServings: 4
100g
2tablespoon
1cloves of garlic
1tablespoon

Step-by-step preparation

Cooking timeCooking time: 12 hr
  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

    gather salad ingredients

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

cut the sausage into small thin strips (or cubes, as you prefer)

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel a clove of garlic and press through a garlic press

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Mix the sausage with mayonnaise and garlic, compact tightly, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in a cool place overnight.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

If anyone can imagine camouflage fabric out of their heads, then they do not need to take this step. I took my son’s jacket, a piece of paper, circled the bowl in which I was going to serve the salad, and found a fragment of an ornament that I decided to take as a model.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Before serving, you need to transfer the main salad to the bowl in which you will serve it. I took a steel one - to make it look “masculine”. Well, and besides, the glass would have some kind of completely incomprehensible “camouflage”: all the meat would be visible.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Now we need three or four acidic components with colors close to the colors of the camouflage fabric. I used green olives, black olives and pepper (ready from a jar, if you don’t have that, I think light paprika from lecho or, at worst, fresh yellow paprika will do)

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Chop the decorative components finely and finely. Really very fine, almost like garlic. I admit that you can do this with a chopper, if you have one.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Well, then, looking at a sample of camouflage fabric, lay similar spots on top of the sausage salad.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

    Well disguised?

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

If the result of the previous step satisfied you (and in general there is no more time for nonsense), you can consider that the “Disguise” salad is ready. If you wish, you can take another spoonful of mayonnaise, tuck it into a plastic bag with a cut edge or a syringe like mine, and additionally draw the contours of each spot.

Here, here’s a disguise for the kitchen and let the men remember how they did it before, otherwise they’ve completely stopped playing such games, and we’re on you, and the salad is on topic, let them play defenders, only whom they can protect (unless just your own plate))) But with the salad, you should come up with something hot to go with the pairing, maybe something in pots under a protective lid? But I liked the salad, purely masculine - everything is made of meat (albeit sausage), but it’s not a simple sausage, and noble! The taste of expensive male desire!

Yeah, yes, you can really “mask” any salad in this way! But I spent quite a long time pondering the question of what to put under the olives such... a purely masculine one! So that later, as in the cartoon: “I’m not a goat, I don’t eat grass!”

What a fantasy you have!!! I would never have thought of such a disguise in my life. It turned out pretty cool. But really, we need to come up with something hotter, also with a disguise, and for dessert, a cake with figures of soldiers on the surface)) They, men, although adults, rejoice at such surprises like children. They will be especially pleased that we remember and respect our beloved Defenders and present such surprises. And delicious) Well done, your imagination works as it should. I'll take note of the recipe)

KSYUHIN1, you guessed my thoughts, I, too, when I saw the salad, I thought: “Well, what a dreamer, Magnago.” It’s a pity that February 23rd has already passed for us, it was January 28th, although in the old fashioned way you can celebrate it on the 23rd and prepare such a magnificent men’s (and to taste and not only men’s) salad. Your imagination will be useful to me. Thank you .
