You can take any spices to suit your taste. First, peel the onion and rinse it in running cold water so that it does not sting your eyes. Finely chop the peeled onion.

    Pour some vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and place chopped onions on it. Fry it, stirring, for a couple of minutes until golden brown.

A great idea to cook rice with onions as a side dish in a frying pan. I, like the author, have long-grain, steamed rice. I washed it 9 times and soaked it in water for an hour. Then I washed it again. An excellent tip is to add butter, the taste becomes soft and velvety. I didn’t add any spices except turmeric. The rice turned out great, with an incredibly beautiful color.
