STEP 1
Cut the apples into 4 parts, remove the core and cut into very thin slices. I used a Berner grater.
STEP 2
Place apple slices in boiling sugar syrup and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until soft.
STEP 3
Roll out the dough thinly and cut into strips about 2 cm wide and about 30 cm long.
STEP 4
Place apple slices on each strip of dough so that they are slightly higher than the dough.
STEP 5
Roll the strips of dough with apples into rolls.
STEP 6
Fold the remaining dough at the bottom under the rosette. Grease the dough on the sides of the rosettes with beaten egg yolk. Place the products on a greased baking sheet and bake in preheated to 150 degrees. oven for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle the finished roses with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!
