  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to knead dough for pies with dry yeast and milk? Prepare the necessary ingredients. All products should be at room temperature. The milk should be warm, about 30 degrees. The first step is to make a dough. It will help revive dry yeast, which begins to work actively in a liquid, warm and sweet environment. To prepare the dough, pour half of the warm milk into the dough bowl and add sugar to it.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Then add dry yeast, two tablespoons of flour and mix everything. Cover the bowl with a towel and leave in a warm place for 20-30 minutes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

After some time, bubbles will begin to appear on the surface and fermentation will begin - the release of carbon dioxide. The more bubbles there are, the fluffier and airier the baked goods will be.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

The finished dough will look like foam. Add eggs, remaining milk, a pinch of salt and vegetable oil to the dough.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Sift the flour for the dough through a sieve a couple of times. This is necessary so that it is saturated with oxygen. Due to this, the finished products will be very airy. Add 500 grams of flour to the dough and start kneading the dough.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

While kneading, add more flour little by little. Knead the dough until it almost stops sticking to your hands.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Sprinkle a little flour on top of the finished dough, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place to rise. This will take about an hour.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

From the ready-made dough, form pies with any filling. The pies can be baked in the oven or fried in a frying pan. Bon appetit!

This dough really turns out soft and elastic. I also practice another option - quick yeast dough without adding eggs and milk. The result is also excellent!

I often prepare dough for home baking using water. But when I saw on the website a recipe for dough for pies with dry yeast and milk, I decided to try it. For the first time, I made only four servings. I prepared the dough using dough. I took the egg and butter out of the refrigerator in advance. I heated the milk. I dissolved yeast, sugar, and flour in milk. I put it in a warm place for half an hour. The yeast in the dough worked well. Many bubbles formed on its surface. The finished dough became like foam. Having combined the dough with egg, milk, butter and salt, added sifted flour and kneaded the dough. I stood it in a preheated oven. After an hour, the dough had doubled in size. It became softer, airier and fluffier. Easy to work with, obedient and elastic. I baked seven small buns from it, although it is also suitable for homemade pies, cheesecakes, buns and other delicious things. The buns turned out soft, fragrant, and tasty. At the break - porous, airy. Everyone at home liked it. Thank you so much for the recipe! I recommend to everyone!

I really liked the dough for pies with dry yeast and milk! You can bake many different products from it, and if you take more sugar, then buns too. I made this dough for cabbage pie. I needed to form two large round pies, so I increased the amount of ingredients by 500 ml. milk. My dough rose perfectly, literally growing before my eyes. I took the eggs out of the refrigerator in advance to keep them warm. It took exactly the same amount of flour. Only then did I dust the table while kneading. The dough rises great! Very fast! My basin just stood on the kitchen table and in an hour I kneaded it once. The pies also rose perfectly in the oven. The dough is soft, tasty and airy!

I really love working with dough, and I almost always use this recipe: Pie dough with dry yeast in milk. Working with such a test is a pleasure. And the pies turn out airy (after being crushed by hand, they return to shape), fluffy and generally the envy of everyone!
