    STEP 1

How to make pancakes for children? Prepare the necessary ingredients. I used the standard recipe for pancakes with kefir, you can cook according to your favorite recipe. The main thing is that the dough is of medium thickness, this will make it easier to draw.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Add sugar, salt and soda to kefir and mix well. You can extinguish the soda with lemon juice or vinegar, but this is not at all necessary; the acid contained in kefir is quite sufficient. Leave the kefir to stand for five minutes to allow the reaction with the soda to occur. Read about all the nuances of working with soda in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe. This will make the pancakes tastier and fluffier.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

    Add eggs and stir.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add flour in parts so that no lumps form, stirring well with a whisk each time. Look at the thickness; the dough should flow well, but not be too liquid. At the end, pour in vegetable oil so that the pancakes do not stick to the pan.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

For this baking method you will need this plastic bottle with a spout. If you don't have one, use a baby water bottle with a sippy cup or a ketchup bottle. Pour the dough into it.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat a pancake pan and lightly grease it with vegetable oil. Start drawing. First draw an outline of the drawing. It will bake until darker.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

After 1-2 minutes, fill the contour with dough. Bake for about a couple more minutes.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Turn the pancake over. This is how the apple turned out. Fry it like a regular pancake. The back side turns out normal.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Turn on your imagination and draw what you want. And it’s even better to involve your children in baking; I think they will really like this idea. Don't just leave them alone at the hot stove; let them bake under your supervision. Bon appetit!

These are incredibly beautiful pancakes! I really wanted to please my child and prepare pancakes for the children using this recipe. Having all the ingredients in stock, I ran to cook. I prepared everything exactly according to the recipe, the steps were described very clearly and easily. I made the dough quickly, without any difficulties. I doused the soda with lemon juice. The result was a medium thick dough. And I went further on the advice of the author; I had two food dyes in my stash. The dough was poured into bowls and mixed with dyes. For drawing, I used a plastic bottle with a sippy cup for one color and a thick mayonnaise bag with a small hole for another color. I fried pancakes according to the recipe, as the author describes. I drew a sun, a carrot, a smiley face, a cloud, an apple, a bunny, a butterfly, and a pepper. It's very simple and fun. I've never done this before. Of course, I spent a little more time than on regular pancakes, but it’s worth it. The child was delighted! Adults also really liked the colored pancakes. They are not only beautiful, but also very tasty. Thank you very much for the idea!!!
