STEP 1

How to make an omelet with zucchini in the oven? Let's prepare the ingredients for the dish. It is better to use young zucchini, which has soft skin and milky pulp without seeds. Wash the zucchini and cut into circles no more than 1 centimeter thick.
STEP 2

It is better to use tomatoes that are not very ripe, so that when cutting them into circles, the juice does not flow out of the fruit. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into circles about one centimeter thick.
STEP 3

We peel the garlic cloves and pass them through a press or grate them.
STEP 4

If desired, you can use fresh dill and parsley. Wash the greens, dry them on a paper towel and finely chop them with a knife.
STEP 5

Grease a metal, ceramic or glass baking dish with vegetable oil. Place the first layer of zucchini, sprinkle with chopped garlic and herbs.
STEP 6

Place a second layer of tomatoes on top. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the pan with vegetables in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove the pan with vegetables from the oven.
STEP 7

We use fresh and natural sour cream for the sauce. Place sour cream in a bowl, beat in chicken eggs, add salt and ground black pepper to taste. If desired, you can add any other seasoning or grated cheese or breadcrumbs. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with a fork or whisk until the mixture is homogeneous in consistency.
STEP 8

Pour the sour cream and egg mixture over the zucchini and tomatoes in a baking dish, so that the mixture covers two-thirds of the contents of the mold. And put them in the oven again for 20 minutes so that the vegetables in the filling brown. The omelet with zucchini in the oven is ready. Remove it from the oven and serve it as an independent dish or as a side dish. Bon appetit!
