Mochi in the microwave
An excellent Japanese dessert that can be cooked in the microwave! I love making quick recipes, especially when it's dessert. In the mornings I became addicted to this simple recipe. It won’t affect your figure in any way, I checked it on myself

Step-by-step preparation
Cooking time: 15 mins
STEP 1
Grind walnuts in a blender
STEP 2
mix them with honey. The main thing is that the filling should be dense, not liquid, so that the dough does not fall apart
STEP 3
In a microwave-safe bowl, mix rice flour, powdered sugar and water. I added a little red food coloring to the water, which gave the dough a nice pinkish tint. Mix everything until smooth. Cover the container with cling film and place in the microwave for 10 seconds. I have maximum power. Carefully remove the film and mix. Cover the container with film again and continue cooking the dough in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.
STEP 4
Place it on a board sprinkled with starch.
STEP 5
We make a thin cake. Cut it in half.
STEP 6
Place filling in each half. Connect the edges to make a ball. Remove excess starch. Bon appetit!

I saw the familiar word “microwave” and was already delighted, but when I realized that the photo showed sweetness ---- and such an interesting one at that ---- there was no end to the joy. Thanks for the new treat!

annasher, oh what sweetness you showed mmm...and without much difficulty! The main thing is that the microwave is nearby. I’ll close my eyes to the powdered sugar, you probably meant it as something that’s not healthy in the recipe, and I’ll enjoy the rest of the healthy ingredients of the dish - nuts, honey, rice flour, where would the Japanese be without rice! Thank you very much for the superb Japanese recipe!
I also wanted to thank you for such beautiful and positive videos, watching them always puts me in the best mood!
I didn’t have powdered sugar, so I dissolved regular sugar in water in advance, and everything worked out. Delicious recipe, thanks!
