Lenten borscht

Even during Lent, you shouldn’t deny yourself a plate of hot borscht! Even while on a strict diet, in which you are only allowed to eat vegetables and only in small quantities, food can remain tasty and healthy. Moreover, most traditional dishes can be meatless, such as everyone’s favorite borscht. You don't need to buy any meat or sugar seeds for it. Let's try to cook lean borscht for vegetarians.

I love borscht very much and during Lent I don’t want to give it up. Thanks for the recipe, it turned out very tasty! I just stewed the beets separately with vinegar and sugar to preserve the color. And I also really like to add crushed garlic and herbs as soon as I turn off the stove.

Alexa! Tatiana! Please accept me and my borscht into your Lenten team. You all have such delicious, cute ones, all lined up for the same recipe on the borscht page, so cool! But I still think that each housewife turned it out a little differently, with her own twist. Look, Rumba Havana and I even have the same plates, but they’re still a little different). Of course, sometimes you need to give your body a break, unload it a little and fast. This recipe couldn't come at a better time. It is healthy, tasty and completely vegetarian. So bon appetit and fasting!
