  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Let's prepare the ingredients according to the list. To give the tincture a pleasant taste, I used cinnamon; you can use other spices or additives, for example, thyme, lemon peels, garlic, ginger, and aromatic herbs. You can use alcohol, vodka or moonshine as an alcohol base.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour vodka into a glass container. It is important to use high-quality vodka from a trusted manufacturer. We wash the hot pepper pod, make a cut along its entire length; there is no need to remove the seeds from the pepper. Place the pepper in a jar of vodka.

Add honey. Of course, it is better to use fresh liquid honey and always natural. But even last year’s candied product is suitable for preparing such a drink. You can use any honey: buckwheat, linden or herbs. Candied honey does not need to be heated to melt (otherwise the honey will lose all its medicinal properties); it can be easily dissolved in an alcohol base. Add honey to the rest of the ingredients.

Mix the contents of the jar, close the jar with a lid and put it in a dark place at room temperature for 10 days.

To obtain a rich taste, the container with the tincture must be shaken periodically.

Then we filter the tincture and leave it to infuse for another two days. If sediment has formed, strain again and pour the liquid into a dark glass bottle with a screw cap. We put the tincture in a dark, cool place; in the light, beneficial enzymes can be destroyed in the drink. Honey tincture is stored under storage conditions for up to 3 years.
