  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make homemade white chocolate? Prepare your food. Any cocoa butter is suitable - in the form of pieces, powder or, like mine, in callets. Choose only a high-quality and natural product, the taste of chocolate will depend on this. The same applies to powdered milk. It is better to prepare powdered sugar yourself, since purchased sugar contains starch, which will be superfluous in chocolate. Adjust the amount of powder to your taste; you can add more or less.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

The chocolate will be cooked in a water bath, so first of all, put a saucepan or saucepan with water on the fire. Once it boils, place a bowl of cocoa butter on it. The bottom of the bowl should not touch the boiling water, keep this in mind when pouring it. Keep the heat to low. While stirring, completely melt the cocoa butter. This will happen very quickly, literally in a couple of minutes. Read about preparing chocolate and choosing a pan in the articles below the steps.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Without removing the bowl from the heat, start pouring the milk powder into the cocoa butter. Stir it quickly with a spatula, there will be no problems with this - the milk will disperse in the warm butter without lumps. Dissolve all the milk in this way.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add a pinch of vanillin to the butter-milk mixture. How to replace vanillin, read the article at the end of the recipe. And also start adding powdered sugar in portions. During the process, you can taste the resulting chocolate and add more powder if desired. When all the powder has been added, remove the bowl from the bath.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Blend it with an immersion blender to achieve absolute homogeneity and smoothness. Act quickly, as the chocolate mass hardens quite actively.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Take any suitable molds for chocolate, I used silicone ones. Pour the chocolate mixture over them. If you wish, you can add any suitable products to your taste on top - nuts, dried fruits, cookies, etc. Place the chocolate in the refrigerator for several hours to harden. And then carefully remove it from the molds.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Serve homemade white chocolate to the table or use it further in preparing other desserts. Bon appetit!

I love white chocolate very much, but this was my first time making it myself. For testing, I first prepared the figures from half of the ingredients indicated in the recipe; besides, my chocolate mold did not hold a whole portion. The preparation procedure is simple, and this is the value of the recipe - it is quick and simple. Homemade white chocolate tastes different from store-bought. You can feel some sugar content, but it crunches nicely, like the real thing! I think that you can add fat-soluble dyes to the chocolate mass and get both multi-colored chocolates and pure white figures. My goal was to make decorations for a chess cake, where the vanilla sponge cake included in its composition also has a yellowish tint. Thanks for the recipe!

Homemade is always better than store-bought, so I decided to make homemade white chocolate. It turned out very tasty! Now I can make homemade white chocolate whenever I want: any day, any time, adding anything to my taste and desire. Next time I'll add a pinch of sea salt. Thanks for the awesome recipe!
