This is roughly how it is prepared. It is better to make small cakes - then they will cook faster. By the way, the oven temperature is one hundred degrees. It took me 2.5 hours to prepare.

NINAOLA thank you very much for the recipe! I always wanted to cook, but somehow it seemed that everything was so difficult and impossible... but after reading your recipe and advice, I finally decided and “dared” to take such a decisive step. Of course, it took a lot of time, and there was also the fear that it wouldn’t work out, but! I was pleased with the result. Everything worked out!

I really love meringue, for it I always collect egg whites from other recipes, but I probably wouldn’t risk beating the whites by hand, 1-2 egg whites can still be beaten, but I don’t think 4 is the easiest task

The manual process takes longer. Sometimes not one hour. But I have a friend who doesn’t appreciate technical things in the kitchen; she doesn’t have a food processor or mixer. She whisks everything by hand. I somehow found and bought a mechanical beater for her - you need to turn it by the handle. But she didn’t like that one either.

As a child, this was my favorite delicacy with my grandmother in the village - she cooked it in the oven from homemade eggs, I still remember this taste. But I have never been able to repeat such a dish. I looked at your recipe and was again convinced that it was beyond my capabilities - I have neither the time nor the desire to beat eggs by hand. I admire your patience)))

Well, mixers were invented especially for the “lazy”. I see that many people are intimidated by the prospect of whisking egg whites. But you can always do this with a mixer.
