  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make homemade fruit jelly from gelatin? Prepare your food. Wash and dry the strawberries and raspberries. In general, any fruits and berries will do; choose them according to the season or use frozen ones. I have orange juice, but you can take apple or any other natural juice you want, you can even mix it. The dessert will look more beautiful with clear juice. If you are on a diet, choose a juice that does not contain sugar.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour gelatin powder into a saucepan. I have the most common one, not fast. If you are using non-instant gelatin, be sure to read the instructions before use. If you have a sheet, also work with it according to the instructions on the package.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour cold juice over gelatin and leave for 15-20 minutes to swell. Then place the pan on low heat and heat the contents to a temperature of 70-80 degrees. Be sure to stir the juice with gelatin, it should completely dissolve. Under no circumstances should gelatin be brought to a boil! At a temperature of 100 degrees, gelatin will lose its gelling properties.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place strawberries and raspberries in prepared bowls, filling the container a little more than half. You can cut large berries.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour the orange-gelatin mixture over the berries. Place the bowls in the refrigerator until completely frozen. This usually takes about two hours.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The jelly turns out very aromatic and incredibly tasty! Before serving, the dessert can be decorated with whipped cream and powdered sugar. Bon appetit!

The children asked for "jelly") I picked strawberries and raspberries from September and went to make jelly. I used cranberry juice as a liquid base; it is a little cloudy, but there is some transparency. In addition, it balances the sweetness of the berries. I added a spoonful of sugar, otherwise it wasn’t sweet for the children) The amount of gelatin for this volume of liquid is just right for strong jelly. It's not liquid, but it doesn't look like chewing marmalade either. Just right, I’ll have to remember the ratio, or better yet, I’ll save the recipe and look at it next time) By the way, I also have the most common gelatin, in large granules. I also noticed when I was preparing the second portion (I ate the first one right away)), I poured slightly warm fruit juice over the gelatin and the gelatin did not swell as it should, but turned into one big toffee. Then it came apart, of course, when heated. But it’s better to fill it with cold liquid. The taste of this jelly is excellent! Very tasty, juicy, aromatic. Fresh raspberries and strawberries are so fragrant) Cranberry juice emphasizes the sweetness of the berries. And this dessert is very beautiful and bright, it lifts your spirits in cloudy autumn weather)
