Frozen cherry jelly

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make jelly from frozen cherries? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. There is no need to defrost frozen cherries in advance, so take them out of the freezer and immediately place them in a saucepan.
STEP 2

Pour 1 liter of water over the cherries and put on fire. Bring everything to a boil. During the heating process, the cherries will have time to defrost.
STEP 3

Add sugar to the pan and stir until it dissolves. Boil the cherries over low heat for 3-4 minutes. Then remove the pan from the heat, cover with a lid and leave to stand for 15-20 minutes. The broth will become more saturated.
STEP 4

Now strain the berries through a strainer. We only need liquid, and you can simply eat the berries - they are very tasty.
STEP 5

In a separate glass, stir starch in 200 ml of water.
STEP 6

Return the strained cherry broth to the heat and bring to a boil. While stirring, add starch and water and bring to a boil again.
STEP 7

Boil the jelly with starch for another minute and remove from heat. The jelly began to thicken.
STEP 8

Cover with a lid and leave to cool. After cooling, the cherry jelly will become a little thicker. Pour it into glasses and help yourself! Bon appetit!
