STEP 1

How to make frozen cabbage rolls in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. There is no need to defrost the cabbage rolls first. You can make them yourself and store them in the freezer until ready. Or you can buy ready-made ones. We always have cabbage rolls on sale, so I will cook store-bought ones.
STEP 2

Peel the onions and carrots, rinse to remove dirt and chop. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
STEP 3

Pour a little vegetable oil into a deep frying pan and fry the chopped vegetables for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 4

Add sour cream and a little tomato paste to the vegetables in the pan. If desired, tomato paste can be completely omitted. Without it the taste will be creamier. But I like it better if I add a little of it.
STEP 5

Pour in water and stir. Add salt and spices to taste. As a spice, you can limit yourself to ground pepper.
STEP 6

Place the frozen cabbage rolls in the pan and cover with a lid. Bring to a boil. Then turn the heat down and simmer the cabbage rolls for 25-30 minutes. Turn the cabbage rolls a couple of times during the stewing process.
STEP 7

Stuffed cabbage rolls cooked in a frying pan are ready! Place them on a plate and serve as a separate dish. Bon appetit!
