Fried rabbit in a frying pan

Delicious, tender, dietary, for every day! Fried rabbit in a frying pan turns out very soft, since the meat is properly marinated before cooking. Serve mashed potatoes, rice, buckwheat or pasta as a side dish.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry a rabbit in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Before frying, the rabbit meat must be marinated. To do this, pour white wine into a spacious bowl. Add salt and dry spices. Choose any spices to your taste, but you can limit yourself to ground black pepper.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Also add 1 tablespoon of sour cream to the marinade. Mix everything. Take sour cream of any fat content, the main thing is that it is natural, without adding vegetable fats. The marinade is ready, now let's prepare the meat.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Divide the rabbit carcass into portions. Rinse under running water and dry with a paper towel.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Marinate the rabbit meat in the prepared marinade, coating it on all sides. Leave it to marinate for 2 hours. During this time, stir the pieces so that they marinate evenly.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Take a frying pan and heat it on fire. Pour a little vegetable oil into it and fry the rabbit pieces on all sides until golden brown over medium heat. Do not pour out the remaining marinade.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Peel the onion and rinse in cold water to prevent your eyes from watering when cutting. Cut into small cubes.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add onion to fried rabbit. Continue frying everything together for a couple more minutes.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Then add the remaining marinade to the pan and add a little water. Bring everything to a boil and cover with a lid. Turn the heat to low and simmer for 1-1.5 hours (depending on the age of the rabbit and the size of the pieces).

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

While the rabbit is stewing, in a separate bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of sour cream and tomato paste. You can add a little water to make mixing easier.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Add the tomato-sour cream mixture to the frying pan with the meat. Stir and simmer for another 30 minutes. During the process, turn the rabbit pieces over several times so that they are evenly soaked in the sauce. Serve the finished rabbit hot with any side dish and fresh vegetables. Bon appetit!

It turns out to be a very tasty dish. My favorite option is baking the rabbit in sour cream with potatoes.
