I found a very cool recipe for French thin pancakes. I kneaded the dough and made orange caramel. I just don’t know if the caramel should be thick or liquid, mine turned out a little liquid, like syrup, but sooooo tasty. It seems that the pancakes are simple, but the caramel gives a mind-blowingly delicious taste, the alcohol level evaporates when heated, there is no harm. True, I didn’t set it on fire, I was afraid)) Thanks for the recipe.

It would never have occurred to me to set fire to pancakes! here is the recipe. Is liquor necessary in Curacao? Can I replace it with something else? As I understand it, it is needed just so that it can be set on fire?

Curacao liqueur is blue in color and has a minty-orange flavor. You could probably use either mint or orange liqueur. Or mix them both. Yes, liquor is needed to set fire)
