  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pop from soda with citric acid? Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour baking soda and citric acid into a bowl and, using a wooden spatula, thoroughly mash the bulk ingredients. There should be no grains or lumps left. You can also use a mortar for grinding.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Then add powdered sugar. It is better to use homemade powder prepared yourself. Again, using a wooden spatula, continue to mash the dry ingredients. The end result should be a very fine white powder.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Prepare one portion of fizz at a time. Pour 2 teaspoons of the resulting white powder into a glass.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour the powder into 200 ml of water at room temperature. When water is combined with soda and citric acid, a reaction will occur, as a result of which carbon dioxide will begin to be released, which in turn will cause those same effervescent bubbles. And powdered sugar will only add a sweet taste to the fizzy drink. You should start drinking the finished drink immediately, as after a while the bubbles will stop forming. Bon appetit!

This was my first time making homemade soda. To be honest, I had some doubts that the result would be good, but the interest turned out to be stronger. I made a mixture for fizz with soda by mixing one teaspoon each of soda and citric acid and one tablespoon of powdered sugar. The water turned out to be slightly carbonated. You can't smell the soda. The taste is very soft, unsweetened. The children liked this fizzy drink. Perhaps you shouldn’t abuse this drink, but sometimes you can treat yourself. Nika, thank you very much for the interesting recipe!

I remember my mother making this fizzy drink from soda when I was a child when I had heartburn, so today I had a little fun with the kids, of course they didn’t drink it, but it was fun

LuSey, I agree with you, I think children under 4 years old should not be given such drinks. I remember as a child they made such fizzy drinks with the addition of jam and I really liked them, especially after the bath, it was so pleasant to drink them, because there were few lemonades , and you can easily make it yourself at home, so you reminded me of my childhood!
