Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to cook Druzhba porridge with milk in a slow cooker? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Take milk with minimal fat content. I use 1% fat. If the milk is fatty, it will escape from the multicooker. Then you just need to dilute it with a little water.
STEP 2

Grease the multicooker bowl along the bottom and sides with a piece of butter. This is necessary to prevent the milk from running away. Although it has minimal fat content, it can also escape without this procedure. Leave the butter pieces at the bottom of the bowl.
STEP 3

Pour hot water over the millet and leave for 1-2 minutes. Thanks to this, the thin film that covers it will be washed off from the millet and it will not taste bitter. Then drain the hot water and rinse it in cold. Just rinse the rice several times in cold water. Drain all the water from both grains.
STEP 4

Place the washed cereal into the multicooker bowl.
STEP 5

Add sugar and a pinch of salt to the cereal. You can change the amount of sugar to your taste.
STEP 6

Then pour milk into the bowl and mix everything. Place the bowl in the multicooker, cover with a lid and turn on the “milk porridge” mode for 40 minutes. The times are approximate, be guided by the operating features of your multicooker. There is no need to open the lid during cooking.
STEP 7

After the specified time, the multicooker will emit a sound indicating that the porridge is ready. Carefully open the lid. The cereal absorbed the milk well. Stir the finished porridge and place on plates.
STEP 8

The porridge can be supplemented with fresh berries. Bon appetit!
