Chips in the microwave in 5 minutes

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make chips in the microwave? Prepare everything you need for this. If you use new potatoes, there is no need to peel them. You can simply wash it thoroughly in running water with a brush. I peeled the potatoes.
STEP 2

Cut the peeled potatoes into very thin slices, approximately 1-2 mm thick. To do this, you can use a vegetable slicer or a sharp knife. Place the cut potatoes in water to remove excess starch.
STEP 3

Then place the potato slices on a paper towel folded in 2-3 layers, and cover with another layer on top to thoroughly remove all excess moisture from the potatoes.
STEP 4

Brush potato slices with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and spices. You can choose spices to your taste. I use paprika.
STEP 5

To prepare chips, it is convenient to use a plate from the microwave oven itself. It is flat and quite large in size. But you can use any other one that is suitable for the microwave. Place a sheet of paper towel on a plate and place the potato slices on it. Microwave at maximum power (usually 750-800 watts) for 3 minutes. Then turn the slices over and leave for another 2-3 minutes.
STEP 6

The finished chips will turn golden brown. Transfer them to another plate and enjoy! They are very tasty and crispy!
STEP 7

You can top the chips with any sauce you like. I really like sour cream sauce with herbs and garlic. You can store these chips for 2-3 days in an airtight container. Enjoy your meal!
