This is the most successful and favorite charlotte recipe for our family. No matter how much I experimented in search of a new charlotte, I always returned to this recipe. And how good it is that it is on Khrumka! I beat whole eggs with sugar only when I’m in a hurry, usually I separate the yolks from the whites, in a separate bowl I beat the whites with 0.5 cups of sugar and also separately the yolks with 0.5 cups of sugar. The result is an amazing crispy, brittle caramel crust. The photographs show how deliciously it cracked when touched by a knife. And one more difference from Valeria’s recipe: I never added baking powder or soda. I highly recommend this recipe especially for novice young housewives. Prepares instantly, requires a minimum of ingredients, and the result is amazing. Just keep in mind that it is clear that from one glass of flour the charlotte will be small, if you plan to have a lot of eaters, increase the amount of products, use a convenient calculator, and it’s not difficult to calculate, there are only 3 main ingredients. Have fun cooking, especially with fragrant autumn apples !
