Tea sausage made from cookies
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
To make tea sausage from cookies you will need shortbread, sugar, butter, milk, walnuts, cocoa.
STEP 2
Grind the cookies into crumbs, but so that there are small, unground pieces.
STEP 3
Add chopped walnuts. Stir.
STEP 4
In a small saucepan, combine milk, sugar, butter and cocoa.
STEP 5
Heat over medium heat, stirring. The chocolate mass should become uniform and smooth.
STEP 6
Pour the chocolate mixture into the pecan cookie crumbs. Stir. Let stand for 10 minutes.
STEP 7
Place the resulting mixture on a board covered with cling film. Carefully form a shapeless “loaf” along the board. Tuck the edges of the film and take the future sausage out into the cold.
STEP 8
Every 15-20 minutes, the sausage needs to be slowly shaped; as the butter hardens, it will help compact the mass and it will better hold its shape.
STEP 9
Leave the finished dessert overnight in a cool place. Remove cling film. The finished sausage can be rolled in cocoa or powdered sugar.
STEP 10
Cut the dessert into small pieces and serve with aromatic hot tea.
