  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make suluguni in lavash? Prepare your food. For ease of frying, I took round thin pita bread, but in general any kind will do - rectangular, oval. They will just have to be folded differently. Place the butter in the freezer 30 minutes before cooking, this will make it easier to grate.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Grate the suluguni on a coarse grater. If you are preparing a snack outdoors, you can not grate the cheese, but cut it into strips. It will melt anyway. In addition to suluguni, any well-melting cheese will do.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Remove the butter from the freezer and grate it as well. Choose high-quality, natural oil, without vegetable fats.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Wash the greens well and dry. Cut it finely with a sharp knife. I took parsley, cilantro and dill; green onions, sorrel, and spinach would also work. It is better to remove rough, thick stems.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place all filling ingredients in a bowl.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Mix them well. There is no need to salt it; the salinity of the suluguni will be enough.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Spread the filling in a thin layer on the pita bread. If you have a rectangular pita bread, cut it into smaller pieces that will fit in the pan. Cover the pita bread with the second flatbread. Press the top layer well with your palm.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Place lavash with filling on it. Cover with a lid. Make the fire small. Leave the pita bread on one side for a few minutes, then turn it over to the other. Also, fry it under the lid until cooked - the cheese is completely melted. Then remove and fry another one. I fried the second one in butter and it turned out to be a delicious golden brown crust.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Cut the pita bread into portions and serve immediately while the cheese is still hot and stretchy. Bon appetit!

You can use any cheese for this dish. Try a delicious lavash pie with hard cheese and feta cheese.

Many people love this kind of dish - it’s simple and delicious. The filling for pita bread can be very varied, both sweet and salty. Suluguni cheese and tomatoes go perfectly together in taste. The recipe will go both outdoors and just like that! Preparing this appetizer is not at all difficult, it just takes a little time. Thanks for the recipe.
