Simple apple jam in a slow cooker in slices
Multiya will save you once again - she will make jam! Very tasty and effortless jam to prepare in a slow cooker.
A very simple and quick recipe for making jam in a slow cooker.
To prepare this jam, you can use any fruit or berries, including frozen ones. When using frozen berries, the water must be removed from them.
I use a 4.5 liter slow cooker.
I’ll tell you how to make jam in a slow cooker using apple jam as an example.
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Ingredients
STEP 2

Wash the apples thoroughly, remove the center and cut into small pieces.
STEP 3

Fill the multicooker approximately half of the total volume.
STEP 4

Add half the sugar.
STEP 5

Then add the apple pieces and the remaining sugar.
STEP 6

You can shake the bowl slightly to pack the fruit more tightly.
STEP 7

Select the “Stew” mode and cook for an hour. If you prefer unpeeled apples, then you should increase the cooking time to one and a half hours.
STEP 8

Bon appetit!

Jam in multicookers is something new. And it cooks faster in time than cooking jam in the usual way. I usually cook the jam for several days, bring it to a boil and leave it. Sometimes such a nuisance as “burnt” happens. But I don’t think this happens in multicookers. Only I have a question: should I let the berries and fruits with sugar sit for a while or should I immediately put them on the stew?

If you want the berries to give juice, hold it. If you don't want it, simmer it straight away. I put it out right away.
