Redcurrant jam with syrup

I once had a long journey to a government house, in other words, a long business trip. Among the traveling companions is a sweet woman, a busybody, who was going to visit her grandchildren in Surgut. We started talking and found a common topic – the dacha. My neighbor loved to work on it, and I loved to harvest. “It’s a pity that it’s winter now, I love red currants, I would just eat them and eat them,” I sighed. “But what happened, here – help yourself!” And with these words, the fellow traveler placed a jar of clear ruby jam on the table. I spent almost 12 hours on the jam: 10 hours for the berries to brew, 1 hour for cooking, and an hour for preparing the dishes and sorting the berries. Very good delicate taste and pleasant light color of the jam.
